Learning the process of hand-coloring while in college, Kerriann has been
able to combine her love for art, history and photography, while bringing
back a lost
art form.
Hand-coloring or hand-tinting photographs goes back to to the original way
of how color photography began. Unlike color photographs, Kerriann's
process is archival and will not fade over time.
The painting is done right on the actual photographic image which Kerriann
custom prints in her darkroom. The finished product is an elegant and
unique piece of art work, which will last for years to come.
